The most challenging part of writing a song for our group was finding lyrics that work together and make sense. If that wasn't a problem, we would be golden. A group that the process appeared easy to was the duo of Ben Sackett, and Clem "The Voice" Tarpey. They wrote to songs in the period of two days, their first was about a awful rip-off of Google Drive, called Quip. Their second, which was much better than their first was about the struggles of a man named Johnny King. It is a great ballad type song. It tells a sad story, but has a great rhyme pattern.
The easiest part of the project was finding a good beat to sing to. Since we used Garage Band, their was a setting that allowed the user to press a cord and the IPad would play a per-recorded beat, only using that cord. It was a very intuitive tool that helped out our group a lot.
The funnest part of writing this song was listening to all of the hilarious lines that would never work, but the way Chewy and Hal we saying/raping the lines almost made me want to use them just to make everyone else laugh.
I would not like to do this project again, just because of the time and effort that it took to write and record our song.
