There are some times where it might be helpful to re-record parts, as there is some stammering. However, this is a great, heartfelt reflection. I like how you expand on each memory, talking about what it means to you. However, I feel like this could use a more unifying theme, as while the memories are excellent, the transitions can be unexpected.
A very heartfelt post. I too think that I've grown mentally in my past 8th grade year, but I definitely had a fun time in 5th grade as well.Congrats on winning the lax tournament too!
Those fly-over shots are something else, that's a great resource to use, well done finding that. My main critique is that you shouldn't be worried about re-recording a section, as there were some overly long pauses around the Mr. Smith story. Very good end to the year overall!
I love hearing about other peoples experiences at Fenn. Its interesting to see all the great stuff that they went through, Winning a tourny or anything Fun and exciting that happened during there course of there Fenn career.
Although I do love this essay, I have viewed three videos, all of them having this "Over Fenn" video. While compiling images is difficult at times, it was part of the assignment I believe. That being said, I think that this is a great essay. Good detail, and good reminiscing on your favorite memories.
Patrick, this is a very well written, heartfelt essay about what oyou have encountered at Fenn in the last 4 years. I also forgot to wish you congratulations on winning the lax tourney!
I love how you talk about year after year, going through all of your greatest memories of each year. Hopefully for you 8th grade was your favorite, I know it was definitely mine. Winning the lax tournament, even though sadly I wasn't there for the finals, was awesome. I cannot wait for smitty as a student life teacher also, it will be awesome. And on that note, making more memories in 9th grade will be awesome, can't wait for it.
I like how you talked about year after year, and I did the same with my essay. You did a really good job and this is heartfelt. You did a great job talking about your journey through Fenn.
