We all had an amazing time this year on our ninth grade trip. My favorite part was the Aqua Zip. To get to the top of the zip, we had to climb up a 70 foot tree using staples in the tree. We were of coursed harnessed in. Once we were up on the platform, we would be hooked into the zip-line. The guide on top would count down from 5, and at zero you would step off the small platform. It was so cool to see the land zip past, and only see the water and then land in it seconds later. The second best experience for me was playing soccer on the deck hockey court that they have at Camp Caribou. It was so much fun, it was a lot like futsal. Futsal is indoor soccer that has a smaller ball and its heavier than normal balls. We played atleast 6 times a day. it was the most fun I had playing soccer in a while.
My least favorite part was very limited swimming space. I hope that they have much more space for their campers than the did for us. Our space was around a 30 by 21 foot box. It was small, but their weren't that many kids in the water. Another thing that I didn't like was the Oatmeal on Wednesday morning. It smelled like cigarette smoke. It was disgusting.
Over all I had a great trip to Caribou, It was one of the best trips we had at Fenn. I would go back anytime. How was your experience at Camp Caribou?
